古雅和迷人
只住了一晚被丢弃在周五和我们很高兴住在栗子的小屋。 比一家汽车旅馆/酒店,特别是如果你记得小时候从这种类型的住宿。 很短的步行到市中心。 是非常棒的老板/经理,友好和脚踏实地。 这是一个较小的单位,但对于两个人来说还不错,而且价格也不贵。 早餐准时送到了我们的房间而且还是热的。 非常干净和舒适。 遇到属性的猫,有太多让我们的猫喜欢的灵魂的喜悦,出去的时候欣赏庭院的鲜花和享受。 我们一定会回来的。

I'm so glad that we had a 1 night Friday stay available for you. We usually have a 2 night minimum on weekends in our high season but we had a guest who took a Sat/Sun and left that Friday open just for you! We are happy to hear that you were pleased with your stay and that you got to meet Maui (the resident beast). She is quite popular with our regulars! Thanks again, and it is nice to hear that you will "definitely be back".

I am truly surprised by this 2 star review as it shows me that some folks have 2 faces and use both of them. We upgraded this guest from one of our least expensive cottages to a large King at no cost as we had a guest that wanted to extend in the cottage that they had scheduled. There was a human error on our part as the breakfast that was delivered to them was to go to the cottage just above theirs on our "manual" breakfast list and it got written as their cottage by accident. I delivered the breakfast at 9 am sharp. The cottage door was open and this guest was up, showered (wet hair) and smiled big when she accepted the breakfast (not at all sleepy). She never mentioned that they had declined breakfast, just took it in and ate it. I became aware of the mistake when the cottage that was supposed to receive it came to the door at 9:30 to ask why they hadn't been served. They were ready to check out so I refunded the cost of their breakfast AND gave them a sizable gift certificate for their next visit. When this guest came up to check out I had politely mentioned to her that I had served someone else's breakfast to her. She apologized saying that she thought it odd that we served her one when she had declined breakfast. She then asked how much it was ($15) and said we should just charge it to her card. Then she said "wait, I'll get you cash". She returned with a $20, put it on the desk and turned to leave. I said wait, you have change coming. She said keep it and left. I actually had no intention of charging her for this breakfast as it was our mistake, but she insisted that she pay for it. Now this review. I think it is interesting how I am all of a sudden "rude". A simple word of advice to all consumers is this "Talk to your hotel manager, restaurant server, clerk or what have you, about how you REALLY feel about your service. There is almost always an equitable solution.

First let me say that I do not lie or discriminate. This review has been posted by, in this guest’ own words, “an activist for the disabled” that would not let me get a word in edgewise. He was offended by the note in our guest book and aggressively approached my wife while she was working out on the property. She told him that she hadn’t written the note and that I was busy at the moment with the reception of incoming guests and that he and I could make and appointment to discuss the issue at a time that would be convenient for both of us. She then came to inform me of the conversation.
This note was placed in the guest books 5 years ago when a NEW REVISSION to the ADA legislation was published in 2012. We had never had a complaint in the preceding 5 years but decided that if even one guest was offended, we should remove them from the books, which we promptly did. Within a few minutes of removal he barged into the office with threats of posting bad reviews on social media through his activist network (though I later found that he had already done so before he came to see me.). He loudly said we were discriminating against the disabled and we needed to be shamed. I showed him the pages that we pulled and tried to explain that, though the wording may have been insensitive (and I apologized for that), we were in no way being discriminatory and that we had pulled them due to his being offended. I barley got a word out before he was talking over me again and stormed out. This person didn’t come up to reason with me as to why he felt the way he did, he simply put on his activist hat and fired both barrels. I’m a very reasonable guy and when presented with all the facts will make changes accordingly, which I immediately did before he came to the office. Had he been a person of reason, I would have been able to tell him what I am about to tell you, the reader:
“I appreciate the concerns that you have laid out before me and assure you that we have no issues with accepting Americans with Disabilities as guests to our property.
Our note in the guestbook refereed only to the 2012 revision of the ADA regulation in reference. I think that the "1990 Americans With Disabilities Act" was late in coming for those in need.
When this very small, 9 unit property was purchased in 2006 the spa was already 20 years old and in disrepair.. Then in 2012 it went down again and was irreparable, so we decided to purchase a new spa. This was at the same time that the ADA regulation was published. I called the ADA to get clarification and was informed that any new installation would be subject to immediate compliance with the regulation. We decided that the expense of a new spa ($8000) coupled with the costs of the regulation (lift $4000, ramp $2000, new gazebo for ramp access and lift platform ($12,000) and cement sidewalk for wheelchair access to the ramp and platform ($4500) [sub total $30,500] and this did not even account for the cost of the demolition and removal of the now unusable spa and gazebo of $6500 [total cost $37,000], were just not the priority for our capital expenditures during a recession. The spa was permanently closed. Without the regulation we would have bought a new spa for all of our guests to enjoy. Nobody misses the spa more than me”.
This activist has posted his rant to multiple social media sites and it shows that he is no more than a cyber bully. His 1 star rating about our spotlessly clean rooms, the cottages and our service is an activist tactic to lower our social media ratings.
We have removed the note from our guest books. I assure you that the verbiage (though I admit may have been insensitively worded) was in reference to the regulation and not any person or his or her abilities.
I did state that the “law” penalized non-disabled guests, and now see that this wording is insensitive. I sincerely apologize for any offence that you may have experienced.

迷人的和比叡山缆车

小屋小屋的甜。
