Wonderful!
Just stayed here for the second time. Nette and Colin are brilliant hosts, warm and engaging and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are well equipped, clean, comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful. Would highly recommend and would definitely recommend A+++

A great get a way place
Nette and Colin Were incredible hosts which made our visit a real pleasure. We had a lovely room thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was superb and all the recommended restaurants in Beer were brilliant. Beer in Dorset great getaway place and we will certainly be returning and recommending to all our friends.

Great stay in lovely location.
Great location and very friendly owners that made us feel so welcome. The bed and breakfast is in the heart of the village, only a few minutes walk to the beach.
There is no parking on the street outside however as part if our stay we were given a permit for the village car park which was just a few minutes walk away, It was very close and we were able to unload and reload the car from the street so was not an issue.
Breakfast is superb and there is a great choice of well cooked high quality food.
We returned this year after staying a couple of years ago, still the same high standards and we’ll definitely be back here when we next visit this beautiful village.

Please note for future guests that parking is really close by, literally a few minutes walk as the review states. I do not purchase parking permits out of the main season as East Devon provide good parking rates for the winter months. Permits are currently based on the duration of your stay. Contact us if you need further information about parking.

A gem of a hotel
This little gem is perfectly located to access the many towns along the East Devon coast as well as a 3 minute walk to the coast path. There is a bus stop literally across the road. The breakfasts are freshly cooked and the rooms comfortable. Colin and Nette are great hosts who will do everything possible to make your holiday enjoyable and memorable. Hightly recommended

How lovely to read your feedback, thank you for taking the time to share a review. We have 7 very different rooms all with ensuite and as well as being so close to the coastal path and bus stop we also have a great selection of places to visit/eat.

Had another fantastic stay at Durham House.
We return here year after year and we love it.
Nette & Col always give you such a warm welcome and are the perfect hosts. Beautiful B & B & lovely breakfasts that set you up for the day. They are always happy to help in any way and are very knowledgeable on local areas & restaurant recommendations & the like. Looking forward to our next stay already 😊
