Exceptional Stay at Unico Relais
Unico Relais is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Naples. Located in the heart of the city, it’s close to everything while still feeling safe and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional staff—caring, professional, and always ready to assist. My experience here was outstanding, and I highly recommend Unico Relais to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Naples.

Very good standard in good position to see Naples.
First and foremost, Naples is amazing, unique and exciting. Loved this in January compared to our previous summer visits.
Unico Relais has very good standard and location! They keep what they promise and everything is exactly as in the pictures. Very service-oriented people who fix taxi, restrooms and breakfast on the bed. Special entrance where you walk through large backyard and into the knot small treig elevator to the 4.etg. You receive video showing how to get yourself from the street, into the backyard and up the elevator. Doors will be opened with QR code you receive prior to arrival. Well inside the small reception is everything new, fresh and modern, with adjacent 6-7 doors into the rooms/suites. Big nice bathroom in most it looks like. Some with bath, otherwise walk in shower. AC in the room and windows can be opened. Cheap minibar with the usual. Large, good beds with huge double doubles and good pillows. TV with NETFliX (if you have a subscription). Right by metro station università. Lots of cafes and shopping in the area. Short distance to centro storico and spacca napoli, sea and harbor, quartiere espagnol, Toledo and piazza Dante to name something. In fact only 10-12 min walk from the central station too.
Located on Bussy main street but no noise in the room because the rooms are retracted on the other side of the backyard.
Typically I think there are 3 actual hotel types in Naples; 1)B&Bs with character and charm, 2)B&Bs that are modern like this and 3)regular hotels. All with different standards, price, facilities, location and guest reviews.
You just have to choose what suits you. Unico Relais delivers top in category 2 here, although they lack hotel facilities, for example. Do not listen between rooms, but a little listen to the reception and an entrance door to the reception that smells a little, but otherwise very quiet for location in the center of Naples. I spend a lot of time on hotel research even if you only sleep there. We were very little in the room on this tour as usual. But nice that things at least are ok standard and clean. And it was crazy at unico Relais! And so breakfast for some reason is important for us, but Unico Relais was without its own breakfast and did not have breakfast room. But we got breakfast on the bed at the time we ourselves decided and we picked food and drinks from the simple menu the day before. On the 2nd day we went out to the neighboring cafe where we just said the hotel name and had included 1 optional things to eat each, as well as 2 drinks per pers. Simple but good breakfast, good service at good price. Housekeeping every day (even on weekends) was a big plus. Coming home day 2 to a brand new hotel room. It was digg!
In summary, this Solid was delivered with personalized service with no big surprises! Unico Relais gets to what they try and promise. 9 points!

Lovely accommodation hidden away from the frenetic streets. Highly recommend.
Pros
We had a lovely 4 night stay here. There were a couple of bottles of water on arrival which were much appreciated. We arrived early and while waiting for our room Mariachiara gave us lots of information and restaurant recommendations. Both restaurants we went to were very good. If you didn't feel like breakfast the vouchers could be used at any time of the day at the nearby café. The coffees and pastries were excellent served by friendly staff. Our room was very clean with complimentary coffee, tea, slippers and toiletries. On our Anniversary we were given a gift of a small bottle of wine which was very thoughtful. A taxi to the airport was arranged for us on our return journey. We would highly recommend staying here and would certainly stay here again if visiting Naples.

Having paid extra for a balcony it was disappointing not to find chairs on it making it rather redundant. We would have loved to have been able to sit outside. We also found the room rather stuffy. We weren't sure what was included in breakfast. On our last day we were offered juice and coffee, we thought it was either/or.

A hidden gem in the heart of Naples
A surprisingly lovely small hotel within walking distance of the ferry terminal, the Spanish Quarter, and the old town district. The hotel is a 6-room inn that occupies part of the fourth floor of a residential building. It took a bit to find the main door - it is a small doorway on a busy street with no signage. The hotel name is on the apartment doorbell list. When you go through the main door, you enter a courtyard. We were met in the courtyard by the concierge Maria who was very helpful and friendly. The stairway and elevator up to the hotel are not great - peeling paint, older and a bit rickety elevator. But it’s typical of Naples and adds character. Once at the hotel lobby and rooms - wow!! Large. Modern. Clean. Well appointed. Big bathroom. Quiet. Maria provided great suggestions for restaurants, where to go, and directions. Highly recommend for location, great rooms, friendly and helpful staff.

A wonderful check in experience and before that. They were very attentive responsive. Lovely and quiet room. A very enjoyable stay.
