Thank you for taking the time to review the Belmercer Motel, we appreciate all guest feedback however we cannot find a record of your stay with us.
Our rooms have down lights above each bed and these are controllable by the light switch located beside either side of the bed head.
In each room we have a Belmercer Motel Compendium, which has instructions as to how to log onto the WiFi network as for security reasons our WiFi has a double Log-In. If for any reason you were having difficulty logging onto the WiFi network, a member of our team would have been happy to assist you had you contacted reception.

You booked a family unit on-line via Expedia for TWO Adults only, within two hours of making this booking an email was sent to you from the staff at Belmercer Motel via the Expedia message center asking you if this number of guests was correct, you choose to ignore this message and never answer the question.
When the day of check in arrived, you sent someone else to check in on your behalf, despite our terms and conditions for check in, being explained both on-line at the time of booking and again in an email sent via the message center of the on-line booking system you choose to use.
Staff on duty explained to the guest that they could not check in on your behalf and that the room was booked for only two guests. It was also explained that the room type you booked would accommodate either Three Adults or Two Adults and Two Children (aged under 18 years of age) only. The staff on duty stated that an extra person (making three in the room) could be added at an extra cost. This was also explained to you when you rang the same staff member later in the day.
The Family Unit at the Belmercer Motel can not and has not ever been bookable for FOUR adults, and had you attempted to book a room on-line for Four people, the booking system would have advised you to book two rooms to accommodate you all.
We at the Belmercer Motel received no communication from Expedia (the third party on-line agency you choose to book through) until 5pm on the day of your arrival. The room type you booked and any room type at any establishment is non-cancellable and non-refundable on the day of arrival.
We suggest that in future you contact the establishment directly to discuss guest numbers, if you have received communication querying this, as if you had responded to our first email question this situation and problem could have been solved immediately.
