温泉を満喫できるホテルです／Exellent Hotel to Enjoy Hot Springs
各部屋のバルコニーにある源泉かけ流しの温泉（非常に高温なので水で薄める必要があります）と、そこから眺める橘湾の風景は素晴らしく、それだけでも宿泊する価値のあるホテルです。
お部屋も清潔かつモダンで、WiFiもあり、観光しないでゆっくり過ごすには非常に快適です。
伝統的な温泉旅館も良いですが、とにかく好きな時に好きなだけ温泉に入り、あとは気ままにゆっくりしたい方には最高のホテルだと思います。
朝食は2Fのフレンチレストランで頂きますが、こちらも充実しています。私たちは夕食も（別料金で）頂きましたが、こちらも素晴らしかったです。

We are currently staying in this hotel now, during the Japanese summer holiday "Obon" week.
This hotel is located just above a souvenir shop and in front of the Tachibana bay, where you can enjoy the sunset. The bath is on the balcony so that you can enjoy the sunset during your bath time, although you might feel ashamed when you are naked (there is a foot path in front of the hotel, and thus there is a curtain on the balcony to avoid being seen).
Contrary to its exterior, its rooms are modern and clean, and WiFi access is available. Unlike traditional Japanese "Ryokan", you do not have to vacate your room during the daytime. I believe that this is the best place to relax and unwind, without any interference.
Breakfast is included in your room charge. The breakfast is served at a French restaurant in the second floor. It is a western style one but we enjoyed it very much so we also reserved and went there at the dinner time. The dinner was a modern Japanized French, adopting Japanese vegetables and sources, and we felt exellent.
The only problem you might have to face is that (as far as I notice) there is no English explanation in this hotel (this is a very small one with only seven rooms). If you love Japanese onsen and do not have any problem communicating in Japanese, we strongly recommend this hotel.

Great water feature - right on your balcony
The rooms are clean and compact. The bathroom is fine - but no shower, no bath. Strange, I thought, until I realised that the shower is on the balcony, looking out on to the bay. There is a modesty curtain on the balcony so that you do have your privacy. It was great to have a shower on the balcony every morning. (I was there for 3 days.) On the balcony there is also a hot tub, using spring water that can be shut off or opened as and when required, temperature-controlled. It was a great way to start each morning, followed by a leisurely walk around Obama and the waters edge, just as the city was arising.
The restaurant is great, with a menu offering French-style food at night. But the individually served breakfast was the restaurant highlight. On the first morning I was served eggs one way, differently served on the second morning and on the third morning they offered me waffles (by showing me a photo of some waffles from a French cook-book.) I declined waffles and received a nice fruit platter instead.
Orange Bay - yes. If ever I return to Obama or to the area in general, it will be Orange Bay for me.
