Nice, reasonably priced place with good food. There are decent restaurants within the area as well.

Pleasant owners, unpleasant place.

Found across the road from the Sports Complex of the Kitami Institute of Technology. Rather an odd arrangement, half bedsit, half guesthouse/hotel which seems to be family run...The traditional guidelines regarding shoes operate at the front door and there are a lot of mailboxes as you enter, suggesting long term occupation of at least some units, although they may not be in use. A laundry is available on the left as you enter. The fabric and decor is variable and idiosyncratic, from large, framed, very well executed paintings around the first floor hallway not hung, but stacked against the walls, to an ad hoc greenhouse outside at the rear of the building comprising a load of scaffolding with plants. The reception was attended by a charming lady of many summers, accompanied by a King Charles Spaniel in a knitted pink dress (yes, the dog was wearing it). A younger lady, also charming, who spoke some English, also attended shortly afterwards.The reception office had the look of a room which had been used to store equipment and furniture till movement was barely possible and hygiene probably out of the question. There are a number of stairs up to the door, steps inside, and a steep flight of polished wood stairs to the first floor. These have short treads and high risers, which, combined with the mandatory loose leather slippers provided, make the ascent "fun" (in the Jeux Sans Frontiéres sense!) for the fit. It makes ascent difficult with luggage and dangerous for anyone elderly or incapacitated, with or without luggage. The carpets, fittings and furniture all suggested a range of vintages, with the most youthful being about ten years. There is unfortunately an all-pervading aroma of some form of chemical cleaner/deodoriser(s), which has or have been used enthusiastically over a long period. This affects all the bedding, (except the white linen, which was freshly laundered), towels and even the air itself to the extent that you feel the victim of some form of mild chemical attack. Some, especially asthmatics, might find it a significant problem. I last encountered something like it with a powder deodoriser for carpets and soft furnishings. This sort of thing is, I would surmise, popular with owners of multiple, incontinent, or just plain fragrant animals. It could possibly be linked to the wearer of the knitted pink coat......
Meals are evidently available, but we only had the room. Wifi is free and worked well enough. Tea making facilities, (although the kettle refused to actually boil) and an en suite hip bath with a low hand-held shower are provided. The obligatory "car wash" lavatory seat is fitted in the separate toilet and there was a small flat screen tv, but we never used it.
Lovely owners, very quirky establishment.

ビジネスホテル代わり、のつもりで利用しましたが、
風呂・トイレが別だったり、台所があったり、と
1人の宿泊にはもったいないくらいのお部屋でした。
大学の向かい、という場所なので、下宿兼用なのかもしれませんが、隣の部屋がうるさい、ということもなく、
快適でした。
食堂・コインランドリーも併設されているので、1週間・1ヶ月くらいの連泊にはもってこいだと思います。また機会があったら利用したいと思います。

二人で長期滞在を安く済ますにはいいかも？

北見工大の真正面にあるプチホテル。　ツインの部屋を一人で使いましたが、部屋は比較的広めで、トイレとバスルームは別々でミニシンクもあります。　ベッドはシングルサイズで、窓沿いには大きめのカウンターがあり、PCや小物を置いても余裕です。　ただ２階への階段は幅が広いのですが、少し勾配が急で、年配の方などには厳しいかも。　清掃状態は見づらいところにホコリがあったので少し残念。　今回は素泊まりでしたが、知人曰く食事は美味しいそうです。
