I stay at Hampton Inn’s fairly frequently so compared to the other locations I was disappointed with this one.
There is a huge draft in the elevator. Felt like at least 10 degrees colder.
High top chairs in the common area were falling apart, literally!

General Manger Needs Serious Training in every Area of Hotel Management from cleanliness to Customer Service.

Filthy is not even a close enough word. Isabella the agent at the desk was amazing and then everything went downhill. As someone who battled stage 4 cancer recently …you know what I’m not even gonna share that part … NO ONE deserves to pay for a room and be exposed to just horrid conditions. The saddest part was the General Manager accepted the standard of the room …Disgusting … Hilton should honestly replace him, his customer so lacking . Luke the gentleman that checked me back out apologized for his manager and said he could only do what he allowed. This char is just one example … it had unknown substance all over it imagine Krispy Kreme glaze and was told we could put a blanket over it … and the GM told the staff the chair could not be removed …. Thsts okay you can have the chair and the room… I don’t sleep on filthy conditions … Hilton needs to take a deep dive into this location and remove it … it’s not up to the standard. So glad the Hilton Representative recorded the responses from this General Manager on what was acceptable.

It was good. Only a few issues that we just dealt with: had to unplug phone in room because it kept rining once even with handset off, waffle maker was broke, had to wait a long time for food during breakfast and clerk refused to print me a receipt.

One of the worst nights sleep we’ve had at a hotel. We checked in around 8:30 and had a long drive. Upon getting to our room, we needed to turn the heat up, noticing it was cool in the room. I tried to figure how to turn the heat on. It would not work. I went down to the front desk. The desk clerk, said “you have the room with the heater that doesn’t work”. So she had me space heater and said this should work to heat your room. WELL it didn’t. The temperature outside was 19 outside. The heater heated only a small area of the room. We froze all night. Breakfast was OK. Nothing special. We will never stay at a Hampton Inn again. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Horrible customer service

This was the worst customer service experience I’ve had at a Hilton property, except for the lady that checked us in Wednesday evening. First the shower was filthy, second we came down for breakfast and no coffee, third all of the staff was eating so maybe that’s why there was no coffee, fourth I went to check out and no one at the desk. I waited and even after a gentleman came out to ask if I needed a receipt he went back to the back and continued his phone call. I finally walked out without a receipt. As we are loading the car he brought the receipt out to me. I tried to explain all of the issues but he continued to cut me off and told me not to be frustrated. He would not let me explain all of the issues as he said there were too many. He also stated I did’t wait that long because he was watching me on camera. If that’s the case and customer service was important, then why didn’t he help a customer? Finally, the hotel isn’t going to have water from noon to 5 today so it makes you wonder how they are going to clean the rooms, but they had time to enjoy breakfast.
