It was a comfortable, enjoyable trip, warm, clean, roomy, quiet, great huge breakfasts, helpful & pleasant hotel staff, great shuttle to downtown & back. Great sights & historical things to see. Wonderful hotel pool with beautiful palm trees & plenty of seating, including outside seating to have breakfast, and a bar.

What’s good - location , free bus in & out of the Old Town
What’s not so good - check in experience like a budget chain - no recognition, tried room , chipped and dated furniture, leaking shower with replastering done by an infant, a safe not fixed to the wall, a door that has a 1/2 play when locked and 20mm brown bugs in the room and bathroom (damp?)
Pool is ok, what’s bad is booming music all day or a booming live music act. Want to chill & read? Not by this pool!
Housekeeping - I popped to the room to collect an item and housekeeping were mid clean, room open and cart outside. I stood for over 5 mins until someone sauntered back to finish the job and lock the room
There may be worse hotels in Key West but there are definitely better

Close to the airport not downtown but prompt shuttle

Such mixed reviews on line, but we had a 5 star experience. Clean rooms: comfortable beds. Nice products. Good maid service. Nice complimentary water bottles and chocolate chip cookies every day. The shuttle was prompt to and from the airport and to downtown. We did not use the pool but the outside bar was nice. The break was pricey but they have a captive audience. You can order a la carte. It's close to the airport but not to downtown. Pet friendly. Small snack shop.

This place is in dire need of a ton of TLC, from electrical outlets that don’t work to chains on the ceiling fan, looks and feels old.

Pro’s-pool and hot tub area was awesome, clean and well appointed. Proximity to Roosevelt blvd boardwalk was great, walked along the ocean daily. Check out was smooth, shuttle to old town was prompt, consistent and convenient. Bar service good but expensive.Con’s- there was a mold smell in the hallways and our room (3rd floor). No balcony in our room, about half of rooms don’t have balconies. Dated and worn floors. Breakfast Buffett was consistently bland and expensive. No pillow options, slept poorly every night. Overall this hotel is a poor value for the room rates but I get there is high demand for Key West travel. We would not stay here again.
