Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Decent bedroom. Would have been fine expect the nightly party that goes on in the parking lot by our room. Think there’s a group of workers that party at night.

The LAST Resort

Very disappointed in this hotel. Front desk was extremely rude both times we came to check in. First time we just wanted to make sure we could leave our car there while we went to the game but she was lambasting us before we could ask our question. Then the tone changed and she was apologetic and told us we could check in after the game.
We came back after the game and a new desk clerk cut us off and said check in wasn’t until 4 pm when I asked the time it was 3:40. My bad! I made a comment about strict adherence to the rules and she shot back with a very non-professional comment.
The rooms are very old and musty. The mattresses are ok. Very firm but at least not lumpy. Furniture is at least 40 years old, dark wood, chipped and scratched, and needs replaced.
The pool looks fine until you get closer and it also needs updated and bugs removed.
First and last time at Clarion.

Outdated and dirty

Hotel was definitely dated and in need of repair. The ice machines looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. We booked the motel cause it had a hot tub then when we got checked was told the hot tub was out of order for maintained but you could tell it was down for a long time. No notification that pool and hot tub closed. Checkin staff was short and not so pleasant

Horrible front desk experience

I booked my stay through the Choice Hotels website. When I arrived, my rates at the hotel didn't march the rates in my confirmation email. I was then informed that my entire 4 night stay had already been charged to my credit card. I was then assured a refund of the difference would be credited to my card. I stopped at the front desk the next morning to verify. I was told that the refund had been issued. I then asked the clerk why I'd been charged the entire stay. She told me that was the hotel policy when full. I pointed out that is not indicated on the hotel website nor on Choice Hotels. She then said hotel could do whatever it wanted. The clerk then informed me she was immediately canceling my reservation and I would have to be out within the hour. She was incredibly rude, condescending, and wholly unprofessional. I've never been treated so poorly by a hotel. Do not stay here. Beside the poor service, the hotel is run down. Better places available.

Booked a suite for two days, three weeks in advanced. Arrived night day of, and room was not avaliable. They had already charged my credit card they were not going to credit my card for the difference until i said something. The room that was given had a toilet that ran every three minutes. Went to front desk to complain the next morning, they said someone be there to fix. Got back to hotel that evening and it still was fixed. The bathroom door would also hit the bed when trying to close. Over all this reservation acted like a bait and switch.
