Thank you very much for staying with us at the Hampton Inn Daniel Island. I do apologize that you had internet issues while you were with us. Please know that this is definitely not a consistent issue as we try and ensure everything at the property is working the way it should for all our guests enjoyment. We did have an issue where a fiber was cut with our internet provider which caused a temporary outage of the internet across their network. We did work with them to get the issue fixed as quickly as possible. Once again I do apologize about the inconvenience with the internet and I hope that you will give us another chance in the future to exceed your expectations.

First Time to South Carolina overshadowed with Bad Hotel

This was the worst hotel stay in all my times of travel. Early check-in was requested and I was told by Katrina I would be accommodated, no extra charges mentioned. I arrived around 2pm and the night clerk tried to charge a whole night, then said half a night because the time was still considered Thursday on Friday based on their system. I waited in the lobby two hours until 4am for their "system" to reflect Friday. He sarcastically asked if I was ready to check in and still tried to charge $50. I told him I spoke with Katrina. He processed the check-in and I paid for the 2-night reservation. The room was sub-par, snacks looked like they had been in someone's pockets for days. Upon attempting to check out at 3:30am I was told I couldn't get a receipt because of their "system". I would not leave without a printed receipt, glad I did not because I noted a $50 charge for early check-in. I did not authorized the charge, and it was not on the charge when I paid upon check-in. Again, I had spoken with Katrina about checking in early because of the timing of my flight arrival. Coming abs going it was an awful experience at this hotel.

Can’t recommend

Rooms are depressing! In need of a renovation. Went to get coffee and only had coffee mate. No half and half or anything without corn syrup and chemicals. Fitness room is tiny. WiFi is slow. Have to pay for better internet speeds. Not sure how these reviews came in high.
