Pure enjoyment.......

The Hotel Gasthaus Hergiswald 3 km above Kriens is worth a visit for a number of reasons: beautifully renovated wooden house, absolute peace and quiet, the church bell doesn't ring until 7 a.m. and the decorations radiate the warmth of the hosts Erich, Nadja and Thomas. Absolute professionals in every respect. A very broad menu and select wine list. The aperitif platter was absolutely amazing. We had pre-ordered saddle of venison for the main course. It almost melted in the mouth and the side dishes were of excellent quality and served separately very nicely. A big compliment to the kitchen and the service. They must really be doing it right if they don't have problems finding staff. Where do you find that in the hospitality industry these days? Plus, two people are still learning in the kitchen and two in the service. On the day of departure, a wonderfully laid breakfast table. You don't have to complain all day.
One thing is certain: we'll be back!!
