Just one night Enough

I had a two night stay Swiss because all hotel in Queenstown booked when I cheeked in the front desk staff 08/01/2025 Asia lady she luck of customer service rude and she doesn’t know what she is doing if you don’t like this kind of job find another job don’t put your employees in bad spot ya if you get that vibe when you cheek in the whole experience horrible she even demanded my email address what the hell I provided my email address I can’t give her my work email but she insisted the hotel I booked pre paid and give my mobile phone agin maybe is not the hotel fault I think that her first day on job. She need a bit of training never expected such things in New Zeland. The hotel basic but clean however it getting old need a bit of renovation specially the carpet. The breakfast good had a bit of variety. The good things this hotel is the bus stop next to it you can get the city centre with 10 minutes a $2 fare. Do I need to go back maybe not that price you can get some other places but you desperately need accommodation you can stay one or two night.

Dear 266fireww,
Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about your check-in experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’ll address this with our team to ensure better service moving forward.
Regarding the email request, some booking platforms don’t share guest details to hotels, which is why we needed this information.
We’re glad you enjoyed the breakfast and convenient location, and we’ll consider your feedback about renovations. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to provide a better experience if you visit again.

A convenient location outside Queenstown, less than 15 minutes drive. Also easy to go to Arrowtown for a half day. We'll-planned bathroom layout with hooks and rails around for bathtowels, clothings.

Great staff working in a tired facility. No AC and poor airflow through the room. A fair accommodation for the price we paid.

Nice and clean room with basic amenities. As it's a hotel, there's no kitchen or microwave inside the room. There is a non-smart TV in the room but its response is very slow, we couldn't enjoy anything on the TV. There is no elevator for this 3 storey hotel, which is a negative factor if one has to carry heavy luggage to an upper floor. Moreover, though parking is available, as it's not next to the door, the luggauges have to be dragged over a gravel (or floored with small rocks) driveway. There is not much to do around the place, besides we couldn't find any gasoline stand or supermarket around here. Queenstown is only 10-15mins drive, so stay here and drive to Queenstown for main activities. Overall, a bit overpriced compared to location and facilities. We will consider staying again if necessary but will certainly look for other options if available.
