Best continental breakfast with eggs, potatoes, beans, Queso fresco, cilantro, and onions. Delicious!

Upon checking in the room temperature was very hot. After a few minutes of waiting to see if the a/c worked we were given the option to another room. Rooms are small but comfortable. Toilet seats seemed cheap they kept bitting me. Stay was ok, a little outside Salamanca but close enough to drive to the city center in about 10 minutes.

Room 705 where I stayed for 5 days smelled very bad, in the bathroom you couldn't even breathe with so much humidity after bathing.
(Building a hotel requires experience and not installing an odor and humidity extractor is very bad) the shower curtain was very short, there was so much water that it drained outside and caused a large puddle with danger of slipping. The toilet seat pinched the leg ((please buy quality seats).
The phone in the room did not work.
We reported it to the front desk and it was not fixed during our stay. We were told that the maintenance person was on vacation all week.
In the breakfast area, my compliments to the person who cooked everything was delicious.
They ran out of some utensils and couldn't go to the store to buy.
What a shame they belong to Marriott.
I live in USA. And here when there are complaints about the service, they fix what is broken and compensate you monetarily.

Happy we were immediately moved from our initial room which had a sewer odor. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. No ice in vending machine, but overall good stay.

First time in Mexico so don’t have anything to compare with but it was adequate lodging for 4 nights. Property seemed secure. They have a fence and full time guard. Breakfast was excellent.
