Friendly and easy to look for food around this hotel

An accidentally drop in to this mines Inn Hotel at gua musang, eventhough this place more than 7yrs,but it maintainance was clean and good no smoke smell at our room, also provided some simply breakfast, just to top up a morning light meal, staff service was excellent, friendly, as for me I'm not capable to climb up stair, without hesitation one of the counter front service staff gave me a ground floor room, which is also next to the counter, a easy access, room is just nice for me to move around, best recommended for elderly ppl or oku, food is a plenty around this hotel, we will be back again

Budget Inn for Overnight Stopover

Overnight pitstop on a Kuala Lumpur-Bentong-Kota Bharu drive. Our windowless twin-bedded room was on the ground floor of a 2-storey shop lot. Our air-conditioned room could be described as bare necessity - attached bathroom with hot water; no chairs or table. LED televsion but poor reception. Cold and hot water dispenser in the common area. No complaint for a one-night stopover. There are 'better" rooms on the upper floor.
There's a 7-Eleven store next door plus Muslim eating places behind the hotel. For non-halal food, just take a few minutes drive to the town centre and the "old" railway station.

Clean but...

Female staff at the counter was nice when we checked in on Saturday afternoon. Male staff couldn’t be bothered with us when we checked out on Sunday morning. Rooms are clean. Surroundings are clean. But...it is noisy throughout the night. I thought roads would be quiet early but I was wrong. The hotel has weird smells too. Maybe it is very old. Furnishings are old. We stayed in a junior suite with a queen sized bed. There was only a tv, water jug (you can fill water from the lounge outside) and a toilet roll. Nothing else was provided.

Clean but Noisy

This little hotel was very clean and reasonably close to train station and food outlets.
The rooms are very small, but this is normal for cheap hotels in Malaysia. The only drawback was the normal noise of others in the hotel coming and going during the night, as the rooms seem to have noisy doors. But overall this hotel is quite suitable for one night.

Great place to stay between jungle trips

Clean rooms & bathrooms, good wifi and very friendly staff. Seriously, they helped us book our trips into taman negara, without them we would not have gotten far.
While there are things to be said about gua musang not being the ideal base to visit the jungle from or there being rooms with no windows in the hotel, the hotel itself effortlessly deserves 5 stars once one takes its rather cheap price into consideration.
