It is a bit far from the city centre, but we stayed only one night before flying home so for us it was not a problem. The only problem we had was that the restaurant doesn't have a menu in English! That is not ok in a 4 star hotel. We also had a waitress who didn't speak a word of English, but we got another one who spoke English (but didn't know what salmon is).

C grade, I got sick here

Good afternoon, accommodation from May 28 to June 1, room 704, corner, with balcony. The balcony door does not close tightly, so there was a strong wind from the balcony onto the bed. The air conditioning system was already in summer mode, it brought one heater-radiator, the next day it was a gun, it was not possible to change the room - at first there was no room available (only a suite for 90k, taking into account the general conditions is not at all attractive), then it appeared, but it was just as cold . They promised an outside specialist to solve the problem with the balcony door - they never did. Thus, if I’m leaving with laryngitis or pharyngitis, I’ll sort it out at home in Almaty.
In general, the room stock is not so fresh - the hotel is not new, don't expect much - but not dirty. There are no cotton swabs/pads in the room, the robe is old waffle, the mattress is soft - who cares. Breakfast is average, coffee machine is average capsule.
If the administration has any interest in resolving issues with guests, return to the legal entity that paid for the stay; our company occupied about 30 rooms for this period.
As a guest, I see no reason to return here.

. Perfect. Stay

We stayed two nights at the Alanda Hotel Astana and our stay was wonderful. The very friendly staff did everything to make us feel comfortable! Breakfast was pretty decent. Rooms were clean. We highly recommend everyone to stay there.

The hotel looks nice and new, clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious, breakfast selection with a touch of a local cuisine.
Location of this hotel is convenient - 5 min. by taxi to the center of new part of Astana and - 10 min. to the old.
