I highly recommend staying at this hotel. For its price, it offers great value for money. The location is excellent—right across JR and Nankai stations, just a short walk from Osaka Metro (Dobutsuen-mae), and surrounded by convenience stores, Don Quijote, supermarkets, and close to Namba and Tennoji.
While I’ve experienced another hotel in the area with slightly better amenities, this one is still an overall fantastic choice. The service was exceptional.
I’ll definitely visit and stay here again!

Very nice and clean place. Incredibly convenient close to the station, and the staff spoke Chinese as well.

I booked a weekend stay at Hotel Sunplaza, but I was initially put off by the dumpster across the street and the homeless individuals often lingering nearby. It gave the impression I might be in the wrong neighborhood, which was a bit unsettling. The tatami room itself was decent and fairly spacious, but it was located directly across from the bathroom, so I could hear people coming and going, flushing, and washing their hands. The soundproofing wasn’t very good.

Very convenient location - just by the metro station and not far from Namba area and a zoo. The room was also nice, very small, but I really liked that it had futons. The hall on the 1st floor had several tables where you could have dinner, and also I liked that there was a free coffee/tea vending machine, it was very tasty! Also a microwave. I totally loved the place and will stay here again when I go to Osaka.

The hotel is very near to the train station. Therefore quite noisy for the passing trains. The guests are very noisy while talking with friends along the corridor and using the toilet and bathroom. Actually, thsi hotel is only suitable for a very very short stay because I can't sleep well here.

The full amount of the reservation must be paid at check-in. Late check-in after 24:00 cannot be accommodated. There is a male-only bathing facility on the R floor that is available from 07:00-12:00 and 17:00-02:00 (next day). There is a female-only shower room and bathing facilities on the ground floor that is available for free from 07:00-12:00 and 16:00-02:00 (next day). 24-hour shower rooms are available on site. Towels are available at the front desk. Shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided in the common bathing areas.
