Amazing view!!!!!
Il Varo a Mare is a simple structure but with a spectacular view!!! It is located on the sea after long rows of greenhouses. The rooms are large but the bathrooms and common areas could use some maintenance. All compensated by Simone's great energy and creativity :)
You can have dinner in the structure if you are tired after visiting Punta Secca and the surrounding areas.

Nice and helpful Owner and exceptional location. Structure to improve a lot.
Nothing to say about Owner Simone very nice and very helpful also in giving information to visit the various places in the area. The place where the beb is located is something exceptional. Very suggestive, on the sea and with a beautiful view to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Negative note the structure, room with peeling walls, shabby and dirty bathroom. There is a lot of dust in the room. On the fridge in the room there was half an inch of dust. La. Morning as soon as we got up we always found everything flooded All outside. The hall. Breakfasts was an oven, air conditioners present but off, in the area there is a lot of humidity so already in the morning it cracked. Very poor breakfast, cold cuts and hot yogurt. As a Sicilian I'm used to something else. The Cleaner told us that the Owner does not pay her enough so the work offered is not the best. In short, a few things should be changed. Too bad because the place is worth a lot and is very gorgeous but. I will not return to this facility.

WITHOUT RESPECT FOR GUESTS
A wonderful bay, a respectable corner of nature, where I dreamed of spending a couple of hours at sunset. And instead...... there was marriage. Everything else is in the background, maybe even third or fourth. Unhealthy room, stale mold masked by a perfumer that aggravated the situation, dirty, even WITHOUT TOILET PAPER. Undecided whether to publish the review, I decided to help those who might run into the same situation. AND I AM NOT A KEYBOARD LION, indeed I always praise those who deserve and encourage to improve. You egr. Simone, you have to change your profession. Upon arrival he proposes to stay in another room because he would have cleaned. Which he did, badly, but he did. The next day he gave us back the room from the day before. I was going to report it to the Carabinieri but I held back. The photos I attach do not portray all the dirt found, even the windows of the hall and kitchen are dirty. In the room, always smelling bad, hair in the shower tray and walls, mold in the corners, cobwebs, air conditioning full of dust, glass turned opaque, and I could go on and on. Out all neglected and dirty. On Saturday afternoon we were "kindly" forced to move away from the structure for all the hustle and bustle of operators, florists, etc. He organized a wedding disturbing until 1 am, without respect for guests! At least he SHOULD have told them. I just wanted to be quiet in that bay. Thanks for ruining two days of relaxation. In the Booking review, where they did not publish the beautiful photos of his property, he wrote that at 8 I ran away, I was wrong, I had to do it first. Good sea view but far from everything
We arrived at night and the access that Google Maps showed us was almost a footprint, we returned and entered a dirt street where the hotel sign was, which was a better path.
The hotel has rooms with a very nice view of the sea and a small beach that they “made” by making 2 breakwaters, but it is small and completely made of stones, it does not seem very enjoyable to me.
The superior room is spacious with a nice balcony with a table and chairs, the bathroom is also a good size.
The bed was not very comfortable, there is a TV, desk, empty refrigerator under the counter and air conditioning.
The bathroom did not have a hair dryer, and the glass to put the toothbrushes in had fungus on the bottom, although the hotel was generally clean.
Breakfast was somewhat poor, with low quality cold cuts, no hot options.
Free Wi-Fi, the same as open parking.
There is nothing in the area, no business to buy something or go to eat.

Certainly the place is not easy to access, in fact it is reached by a small unpaved path but the place is well worth it. The boss and his team take great care. Magnificent view, functional rooms. In award-winning rooms you can admire the sunset from the bar terrace overlooking a small cove
