Enjoyed a great Danish Smørrebrøds Lunch

The hotel is located just by the train station in Vojens. While waiting for a train to Copenhagen we enjoyed a pleasant Danish lunch here. In fact they served the best and fattest marinated herrings I had while in Denmark. The old Danish cheese sandwich with meat aspic on rye bread with drippings was "to die for" too. A traditional Danish treat awaits you here. Pleasant and attentive service too.

Give it a miss

What a disappointment, room small, bed had springs coming out, breakfast un-edible and would question the hygiene, after what we witness in the breakfast room, the waitress emptied the coffee machine, then continued to place cold meat on a plate, without washing or even wiping their hands, and did not have any gloves on either, we could not eat there. There is a bar - very small room where everyone smoked, and the smell went right through the building and bedrooms, the TV didn't work, someone came to have a look and just said sorry and unplugged it

Danish old Kro with rooms

Another hotel that we found late in the evening. Surprisingly good meals in the evening and, as always in Denmark, a complete and "charming" breakfast. Parking just outside Rather high cost for the two rooms we needed because there was no rom with Twin beds available.

Fine for short stays only

This is a hotel that did not make a very good impression on us. Rooms are renovated, but small and without charm. The building is simply boring. Food is fine, but absolutely nothing special. We bought a weekend deal, but have no plans on coming back. The only good thing about this hotel is its location close to the border and a pleasant, informal service.
